Where we lose, first
We are not the cheapest digital signage software and this page is not going to pretend otherwise. Here is the actual trade, with the numbers you can go and check.
Yodeck starts at $8 a screen a month and gives you one screen free forever. OptiSigns starts around $10. Our Starter licence is $120 a screen a year — the equivalent of $10 a month, and most people buy Pro at $20-equivalent. On licence price alone, they win. If the cheapest software is what you want and you are happy to build the board and hang the screen yourself, buy theirs. Genuinely.
We are the answer when you would rather someone else did it — and the place that stops being a preference and starts being arithmetic is the flat-rate service line below.

The one we win outright
Flat-rate service, against per-screen service
This is a managed-service comparison, not a licence comparison. We lose the licence comparison and we are not going to blur the two.
Menu changes handled for you
- With us, flat per account
- $89 / mo
- Typical per-screen managed service1
- $180 – $900 / mo
At 3 screens that is about $30 a screen for us. Add another and ours does not move — theirs does. That gap is the whole argument, and it is the one comparison on this site we win outright.
For reference, the licence itself at 3 screens on Pro is $1,516 in year one and $720 a year after.
1Category range for managed digital-signage content services, $20–$100 per screen per month depending on change volume and response time. No vendor is named here on purpose; the named, checkable comparisons are on the comparison pages. Checked 2026-07-29.

The specific ones people ask about
Yodeck
$8 / screen / month
One screen is free forever, and annual plans include a free player. Their annual plans carry no price discount — the incentive is the hardware.

Where they beat us: Licence price, outright. $8 a screen is less than our $10-equivalent Starter, and their free single-screen tier costs nothing at all.
OptiSigns
$10 / screen / month
Their free plan has no Schedules feature at all — which means no dayparting. A lunch/dinner rotation requires a paid plan.

Where they beat us: A deep app library and integrations we do not have and are not building.
ScreenCloud
$20 / screen / month
Priced for multi-site enterprise deployments with the org tooling to match.

Where they beat us: Enterprise device management across hundreds of screens and many locations.
Spectrio
around $99 / screen / month, on a 36-month term
Sold as a managed service on a multi-year contract — typically 36 months.

Where they beat us: A national field-service organisation. They can install in fifty states; we cannot.
Raydiant
around $49 / screen / month
Raydiant raised roughly $50M, then collapsed into a distressed asset sale in May 2025. The assets went to Displai, which narrowed the roadmap to hospitality and kept the price point.

Where they beat us: Nothing we can honestly claim. This page exists for people already stranded there.
Still want the cheap licence? Go and get it.
We would rather you bought the right thing than the thing we sell. If you want it done for you instead, Pro at two screens is $1,127 in year one and $480 a year after.
