What happens at eleven o’clock if the internet is down?
The board still switches. The schedule is stored on the device behind the screen, next to the menu itself, and the device reads its own clock. Nothing about the switch requires a network — which is why the two headline claims on this site are really one claim wearing two hats.
Rules on items, not just on boards
A single item can carry its own days and hours. A Friday fish special appears on Fridays and is simply not there the rest of the week — you are not maintaining seven boards to get one item to behave.
Whole sections, on a window
